Get to know me!

Hello!

Hi! I'm Dheirya Kharbanda, a student with a suspiciously specific interest in robotics, programming, and editing. I've been doing this for the past couple of years, and I intend to continue until my computer formally requests a restraining order.

Outside of programming, I enjoy cooking, solving Rubik's cubes, watching TV shows, and listening to music. A LOT of music. My headphones have probably spent more time with me than most people.

My interest in programming and robotics started around 2022, just before the AI boom. Convenient timing, really. With AI and the internet acting as my unofficial teachers, my learning curve accelerated considerably.

I've learned quite a bit since then, and there's still an embarrassing amount left to figure out. But nothing makes you feel more like Tony Stark than lighting up an LED using code you definitely didn't copy from a YouTube tutorial.

And no, I don't have one of those inspirational origin stories where I started coding at age four and built a computer from cardboard and sheer determination.

I was a normal kid. I watched TV, enjoyed life, and had absolutely no idea how any of the technology around me worked. Then I got curious. A fairly expensive mistake, considering what electronics cost.

Once I started exploring programming and robotics, it became a major part of my life. Now I get to learn how things work, build projects, and occasionally convince a pile of wires to perform useful tasks.

And yes, I finally understand how my TV works. Progress.

These days, I'm in 12th grade, preparing for board exams and college applications, because apparently education wasn't stressful enough on its own.

I also recently completed T.R.A.C.E, my project for BBPS Hackathon 3.0. It is now a finished project rather than another permanent resident of my unfinished-projects folder.

Some of my other projects include Soil Sense , an IoT-based device designed to help farmers and researchers monitor soil conditions more effectively.

Anyway, that's enough about me. I've successfully made you read an autobiography disguised as a website.

Till then, bye!

Goodbye!

"Good things. People say good things about me."

— People, allegedly.

"He definitely knows what he's doing."

— My computer, probably lying.

"An incredibly humble individual."

— Me. I said that.
